Day #46 – Rush Center, KS to Dighton, KS – 64 miles / 103 km

Another example of people’s hospitality: The brothers stopped for a break not realizing, that the side road where they pulled off, was a private road. The property owner came out and asked if they needed help. The boys said no, and that they were sorry for stopping here, they would be leaving soon. The person left – and soon returned with several bottles of iced water. They engaged in a conversation, and Peter and Janos talked about their trip and their mission, they also left some Blind Judo Foundation cards.

The terrain is extremely flat, not even a hill, as they look around. Other than a few power lines, nothing blocks the view of the sky. “I’ve never seen so much sky before.” – said Peter. He tried to capture the view on the photos below.

States: 9    Total: 2271 miles / 3655 km

  1. Glad you continue to meeting the hospitality of Americans along the road to your return to CA. Thank you for always wanting to share information about the Blind Judo Foundation. You and the whole Kabai Family are greatly appreciated. Continue to stay strong and we’ll see you upon your return. Ron Peck, Blind Judo Foundation
