Day #31 – Elizabethtown, KY to Fordsville, KY – 64 miles / 103 km

The brothers started relatively early today. Still not early enough to avoid the need of riding until late night. They were hoping to do 76 miles today, but terrain and bike problems caused delay. Janos is pretty good by now at changing broken spokes: The other day he showed a fellow bicyclist (10 years older than him) how to do it. 🙂

Today the boys entered the Central Time Zone.

States: 5  Total: 1352 miles /  2176 km

  1. We saw your boys at a McDonalds in Hardinsburg, KY. Very inspiring story. It was a pleasure to have met such humble, dedicated people. Keep up the good work Janos and Peter. It’s probably been extremely difficult and it probably won’t get easier, but stick with it! Strangers throughout 5 states are now pulling for you, praying for you, and wishing for your safety and success. Good luck guys.

  2. Congratulations Peter and Janos for making it to the Central Time Zone and sending pictures of the beautiful KY countryside. Happy 4th of July. 236 years ago our Declaration of Independence was signed…It’s a historical day. Keep up the great job you both are doing. We look forward in hearing many stories upon your return.
